Engineers Mat
The Engineers mat is a heavy duty rubber mat for use in workshops, teardown bays, on and around mobile plant, and generally in areas where heavy objects might be placed onto a concrete floor. The Engineers mat is more for protecting machinery, not so much for operator comfort. Being made from a tough, heavy duty compound means even full size engine blocks from dozers wont hurt it.
With a rigid, load bearing design, and hardy rubber lugs on the underside that elevate it off the ground, the Engineers mat is perfect for oily workshop floors, or hydraulic reconditioning centers. The lift provided by the rubber lugs accommodates for oil or liquid drainage, while ensuring the mat doesn’t become sodden and worn.
Another common use for the Engineers Mat is to provide a cover for muddy/snowy/wet walkways. The octagonal pattern stops the mat sinking into the slosh, while providing a clean, dry and safe pathway for pedestrians.
